The Good Samaritan National Award was started by KSSS in the year 2012, in joint collaboration with Agape Movement, Chicago. The award is given in due acceptance of distinguished performance of social workers who demonstrate exemplary performance for the public good and are worthy of emulation.
Now, KSSS is pleased to announce Call for Applications/Nominations towards Good Samaritan National Award 2015. Nominations are being invited for distinguished social worker to honor outstanding social workers.
Vision : A just society where exists hearts of love unconditional to heal the sick, comfort the downtrodden, cloth the naked, dress the wounded and protect the unprivileged.

Mission: To salute an exemplary individual in India who propagates a culture of connecting heart to heart by strokes of universal brotherhood.


• Give recognition to the challenging work of social workers and their status
• Promote best practices in the profession and celebrate success
• Improve understanding of the range of work which social workers undertake
• Encourage humanitarian goals and ideals

Selection Process

  1. Applications for the award shall reach the office of the Director on or before February 5, 2016 by post.
  2. Winners will be adjudicated by a panel of experts whose decision will be final.


Application requirements

  1. Personal profile with passport size photo
  2. Brief of the social work activities undertaken
  3. Entries for the category of Good Samaritan National Award 2015 should have relevant social work experience of not less than 5 years
  4. Copy of News, Articles, Photographs, Documentary to substantiate the Application.
  5. Medium of Submission (English or Malayalam)
