Gathering of Farmers and Inauguration of the Scheme ‘Bhalavriksha vyapanam’

For the upliftment of farmers and agricultural sector, the inaguration of a novel scheme, ‘Bhalavriksha vyapanam’ and gathering of farmers were held at Chaithanya Pastoral centre. The inauguration of the function has done by Mrs Beena Binu (Block Panchayath President, Ettumanoor). The meeting was presided over by Shri Joy Onnukkallel (Muncipal Chairman, Ettumanoor). Fr. Sunil Perumanoor (Executive Director, KSSS), Mrs Marykutty Sebastian (Gramapanchayath president, Athirampuzha), Fr Roy Kanjirathummoottil (Assistant Director, KSSS), Shri John Mavellil (Representative, Federation of KSSS Self help group of Men), Mrs Bessy Jose, Mrs Jiji Joy and Mrs Biji Jose (Coordinators, KSSS) were delivered speeches over meeting. By handing over the coconut tree sapling to Shri John Maveli, Mrs Beena Binu inaugurated the scheme. Free distribution of 2000 coconut tree saplings has done for the 400 farmers participated in the programme.
