With the intention of ensuring proper treatment at the proper time for the poor, KSSS announced the Chaithanya Jeevakarunya Ambulance. The scheme is funded by MIVA. MIVA is a Catholic lay Association aims at providing essential transport for health care and pastoral support activities in areas of great need. The programme was inaugurated by Shri. M.M. Mani (Minister, Department if Electricity) on the eve of Chaithanya Karshikamela, 2017. The other prominent personalities present were Shri. Ramachandran Kadannappalli (Minister for Ports), Shri. K Raju (Minister, Forests Department) and Mar Thomas Tharayil (Auxiliary Bishop, Changanacherry Archdiocese).
