Ksss – habitat for humanity india flood rehabilitation activities got started

The Flood Rehabilitation activities of KSSS cordially with Habitat for Humanity India officially launched with three days ‘Flood Relief Kit’ distribution at Chaithaniya Pastoral centre, Thellakom. The first day distribution programme was inaugurated by Adv. Suresh Kurup (MLA) and Mr. Sunny Pampady (District Panchayath President, Kottayam) presided over the function. Fr. Sunil Perumannor (Executive Secretary, KSSS), Mr. Joy Mannamala (Municipal Counselor, Ettumanoor),  A.J Thomas (Circle Inspector, Ettumanoor),George P. Kurian (Deputy Manager, Habitat for Humanity India) delivered speech in the auspicious occasion. Around 400 flood affected families in Kottayam district got ‘Flood relief kit’ worth Rs.10,000 containing water purifier, tarpaulin, mat, steel vessels, blankets, torch, sanitary pad, bath towel, bed sheet, tooth paste, tooth brush, soap, sanitary lotion, bucket etc on the first day

Second day distribution programme was inaugurated by Adv. Mons Joseph MLA and Mr. Sunny Pampady (District Panchayath President, Kottayam) presided over the function. Fr. Sunil Perumannor (Executive Secretary, KSSS), George P. Kurian (Deputy Manager, Habitat for Humanity India), Mrs. Beena Binu (Block Panchayath President, Ettumanoor), Mr. Joy Mannamala (Municipal Counselor, Ettumanoor), Mr. Cyriac Chazhikadan ( Social worker) delivered speech in the occasion. 422 flood affected families in Kottayam district got benefit from the programme.

Third day of the distribution programme began with the inauguration of Shri. Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan (MLA). Rev. Fr. George Vettikattil (Executive Director, Kerala Social Service Form) presided over the function. Fr. Sunil Perumannor (Executive Secretary, KSSS), George P. Kurian (Deputy Manager, Habitat for Humanity India), Mrs. Marykutty Sebastian (Grama Panchayath President, Athirampuzha), delivered speech in the auspicious occasion. Around 75 flood affected families in Kottayam district got ‘Flood relief kit ‘on the last day.
