Official launch of combined flood rehabilitation activities By kottayam archdiocese & caritas india

The Flood Rehabilitation activities, Implemented by Kottayam Social Service Society in association With Caritas India, Social Services Division of the Catholic Bishops Council Of India was officially inaugurated by Mar  Mathew Moolakattu (Archbishop of Kottayam Archdiocese and Patron of KSSS). Mrs. Beena Binu (Block Panchayth President, Ettumanoor) presided over the function. Fr. Sunil Perumannor (Executive Secretary, KSSS), Mr. Joy Oonnukallel (Municipal Chairman, Ettumanoor), Mrs. Bessy Jose( Social Worker, Mrs. Mercy Stephen(Social Worker)  delivered speech in the programme held at Chaithanya Pastoral centre ,Thellakom.

1500 families from Kottayam, Idukki and Wayanad districts were the beneficiaries of  the project. Kottayam Social Service Society, Malabar Social Service Society and Green Valley Development Society will coordinate the future rehabilitation activities.
